Nurga

Is this zone good exp for a balanced group of low 30s? Why does no one seem to go here. I just find that MM is crowded alot of the time and thinking of forming my own group to go here but would like to know what people think about the zone in general and if there is some horrible reason that no one likes to hunt here.

Nah it's fun, same with drooga. It's just the location, and everyone is already logged in MM.

Guess my best bet is to start a group in FM then move them onto Nurga if it has the right class mix. Is the zone decent exp for a balanced group like MM. I love the CE camp in MM but its always taken and the other camps dont do so well 30 and onwards and the cloak camp is always taken by a single high level.

nothing wrong with droga. just need to have a balanced group with cc and move slowly. you really don't want to aggro a whole room unless you are ready.

back in the day....late kunark/early velious....people avoided this zone cos of the caster mobs. However if you have a few years of eq play under your belt, then you can probably cope with the zone far better.

theres some camps that are safeish. IF you know the layout, then its probably better exp than fm. Have you got a planB for CR or deaths?

Norathorr 05-10-2015 08:07 AM

I had no specific plan but I think nothing there sees invis?

There's no reason a group of average geared 30s should struggle in Nurga - definitely take an enchanter/bard along for mezzes, maybe a druid/wiz for a port out... but I would give it a try.
