Timorous Deep Port room question
 

Hello,

I was wondering about the viability of a low level (19ish) bard (or any melee/hybrid for that matter) getting bound in the Timorous Deep port room.

Are there any downsides to this? It seems like only upside. How well traveled is it? My fear is getting there and then not being able to beg a bind from somewhere- the same fear I have when I run from Qeynos to Freeport but at least Freeport is well traveled.

Only casters were able to bind themselves there. Melees couldn't be bound unless you had the clicky.

Nobody can bind there now. It was changed just like on Live. You had to bind yourself there before the change.

Saved me a long boat ride and a treacherous swim.

Foiled! My plan - once my Chanter ** hits 12 and buys Bind Affinity and Levitation - was to bind in the pot room. Oasis docks will have to suffice.

Binding at Oasis docks with sow and levi is not a bad option. The boat to TD is fast and then u just run it.

The boat is on a 10-15minute recycle.

The run down to Firepot Room from that boat with SoW/Levitate takes about 7-8minutes.

You're looking at on average 15~ minute trip every time you want to visit the firepots from being bound at the Oasis dock.

You misspelled free ports :D
