A Weapon for level 9 Shm?
 

Wanting to kill wisp's but need a magic weapon, and with spells being really expensive I need to get a pretty cheap weapon, anyone know of a inexpensive weapon.

You don't say what race, Barb Shamans should do the Initiate Symbol of the Tribunal quest to get a 6/32 1HB summoned hammer that will provide a decent magic weapon (AC3 1WIS 3MANA) through your teens. Troll Ogre and Iksar - reroll Barb :)

If you're a Barbarian there's the Initiate Symbol of the Tribunal quest which gives a necklace that summons a magic weapon. Or if you want to go all the way to Crushbone you can try and get a Screaming Mace. I'm sure there are other good weapons for a low-level Shaman too but those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.

To get you over the gap, you might politely ask a mage to summon you a magic weapon. They get 2-handed blunt weapons starting at 8th and a spear at 20th. They're not such a good deal if you're only going to be on a short time but for the longer haul, they might help you get enough greater lightstones that you could afford something that doesn't evaporate 30 minutes after you log off.

I'm 22 now and I've used Brells Keg Popper since level 5, you can get it for around 100pp. How to raise funds without begging like an idiot; As a Barbarian you can help the high levels killing ice giants by perma entrance to change their gold into plat and get some very excellent starting money from that. Doing that I had about 7-800 plat at level 5 to afford myself a set of banded, weapon/shield, WIS earrings and AC rings plus spell money. :)

Buy a runewood greatstaff for super cheap or possibly free. When you hit 14 and get root, you can med joust. Basically you root, sit out of range, watch for your mana regen increase every 6 seconds, and between mana ticks stand up and hit the monster. Use all this extra mana to toss out a nuke or two.

haha damn that quest is so awesome, you can get a bunch of classic gear that would make you seem pretty cool a for quite a few months after everquests original launch!
