Troll to Crushbone

I just started playing Here a few weeks ago and am LOVING it here !
I started a Troll Warrior and im wanting to level up in Crushbone. I have no money to pay someone for a Port. So im trying to think of how to get the big ole fatty all the way over to crushbone.

Do i have to Swim in the water in free port to avoid the guards to get to the boat to butcher block? is there an easier way that im over looking?

Once i do make it to Gfay, can you bind outside of the crushbone dungeon? or is my best bet to get bound by the lift of the elf city.

Let me know if anyone has any ideas!!!

At level one, I think you'd have to do it all swimming and even getting to the Freeport docks will likely present some complications due to wandering NPCs who might not like you (I'll defer to troll professionals here). I'd be as or more concerned as to the crimp you're going to put in your faction with the warrior guild in Neriak as a result of hunting in Crushbone. This won't restrict your access to the bank there but I think it's worth consideration if you want to flush that.

Having said all that, if you give a name, I expect someone here might be willing to help you relocate.

I can almost guarantee you can find a wizard in EC to give you a port and a bind. Especially if you tell them you're new. May have to ask a few people before getting a response but people seem very accommodating to new players to p99.

You'll need to be very careful using the boat. There are NPCs on the docks in both EFP and BB that will kill you on sight. I also wouldn't bind near the Kelethin lift because the guards will also kill you. Huning orcs in Gfay and CB will also make you KOS in Neriak eventually as well because you will take Indigo Brotherhood faction hits.

You can probably hitch a ride if you hang out at the spires in NRo or just ask someone in EC and lay bare your noobness ^^ you can bind at the CB zone line or near the gray Druid ring if you want to be closer to the city. Nothing paths through there and you will be safe. There are is a quest you can do to get your faction up with merchants once you are no longer kos to the guards, but it takes time.

I didn't hunt at CB on my Dark Elf because of the warrior guild hit, but that is just a personal choice. The warrior guild is completely avoidable in Neriak if you know the zone. Now if you are a troll warrior that is a different story.

edit: saw that you're a warrior. All it means is you wont be able to train skills in Neriak. I did Orcs in EC and then some Oasis as an alternative to CB.

My dark elf warrior leveled exclusively in GFay ^^ She is now an honorary Emerald warrior. The banker still plots her death, but I can access her wares from outside so no loss there ^^ merchants dun like her though, which can make life tough. On the otherhand farming cb belts/pads was very good income.

You have the basic idea totally right: travel for adventure! It can be a pain in the ass, but it is part of eq to have to travel, and be careful about it.

And as a troll going to Faydwer, you are going to have to be careful. I would try to find another troll in game who can give you personal advice on where it is safe to bind anywhere near those irritating little pests, the city of the half and wood elfs.

Just do /who all druid/wizard 34 60. Don't be a dick just ask if they aren't busy and if they wouldn't mind giving you port to butcher block mountains with a sow if druid or gfay and a bind if wizard. Meet the in south ro or just run to ec and ask in shout. Safe place to bind in gfay is wizard spires.

that will give you dialaport. ask any of them that are in the zone you are in if you can tag along for a gfay port (with invis). best bet is EC/WC
