best bang for my buck on red
 

doing some auction hustling and with some donations from established players I have 10k to equip my first real char on red, what class / and items for said class will get me the most bang for my buck? Thx!

jboots and mr jewelry

i bought jboots for 2k for my monk yesterday but yeah all you really need is MR and jboots, nothing else matters until high end levels

Depends on class.

Making a hard? Prob would get hp rings and some weps and instruments

Shaman or Druid? Prob would skip jboots initially

Any other class though yea you want 85-90 mr at the absolute minimum, if you are a Meele you want mithril arms and legs, caster get bone caster robe and hollowed bone bracers to go with the mr jewelry

want a good weapon for whatever class you are making along with the jboots + resist gear and hp rings if you have enough left over to swap around.

10k to start go enchanter. Can get 200 cha easy + resist gear. Enchanter good in pvp/pve, solo friendly and alot of fun to play once your 30+.
Once you hit 16, charm a pet and get breeze and any group will take you. One of the top dps with a charmed pet, best cc, some of the best buffs and fun as hell to play.

What do you want from the character? Do you need to be able to solo farm cash camps at higher levels, do you need to be able to rack up pvp kill-shots? How important is gate to you? What level range do you care about your relative pve/pvp power the most? From the information you've given us, the only class that can be eliminated from the list is druid (because of your p.s.).
