PvP Spell Resists
 

Got my wizard to lvl 20, was messing around with a friend testing resists on his 20 sk. My spells are hitting for like 1/4 dmg most of the time if that, and he only has 40 MR. Is this normal? Do wizards have to wait for lures to have any chance pvping on red or what? 44 dmg for 120 mana isn't too great.

wizards are horrible

at lower level wizards are great, once people start getting resist gear later on you'll be relegated to using lures on any target that isn't naked or malo'd

wizards are still very good at high level

But why am I only doing 1/4 dmg on someone with basically no MR gear and even level?

Hmm, well we just hit 21 and now im doing more along the lines of 65% dmg, so maybe it had something to do with lvl 20 dmg cap.

spell damage is reduced by 33% in PvP

On red now? Bring some more, lol. :D

As a cleric I don't even try to nuke or stun anyone in pvp.
