2 handed slash vs dual wield
 

Hello all. Newbie back to the game after many years and I must say I've missed it. It's good to having consequences to death and actually having fear of roaming the world again!

So I have a level 13 warrior. Early on someone was nice enough to give me a Nathsar Greatsword 17/30 weapon. One kind of weapons would I need dual wielding to keep up with that. I've completely forgotten the dps mechanics of dual wield. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!

Dual wield is pretty poor when you first get it. Very rarely generates a swing in the offhand (interestingly the off hand can still proc even when it fails to swing).

If you are quite a twitchy player you can level up your dual wield skill whilst using a 2hander... simply un equip and re-equip between 2hs swings, which will give your offhand fist a chance to swing (and so skill up).

As a warrior keep all of your skills up. It's easiest to do it whIle leveling. Save all of your platinums to buy a staff of battle Later on. For under 1k, it's the best weapon a warrior can get for his money.

Except real warriors don't use sissy twigs and branches, use an axe/sword/hammer of some kind and get some hair on your chest
