I found this video on youtube today, and i would like to share it with you guys. I know some of you have never played eve online, and wont be aware of some of the terms these guys speak of, but they explain everything in detail with great videos + Vent recordings from both sides.

This small crew of people killed thousands and thousands of players with strategic moves that blew people away.

The dude narrating is english and sounds like a firegiant, but give the video 5 minutes and youll want to watch more. Its long but completely amazing, and will show levels of strategy many of you have never seen before.

EVE: The early failed prototype of Star Citizen.

As someone who has fought R&K quite a bit their tactics come down to this:

1. Superior logi numbers. They will not fight anything without overwhelming logistics.

2. Cyno bait traps. This is what they do, they drop carriers and dreads on everything.

3. The Green Killboard- they will not take any fight ever without being assured of success.

They are good players no doubt but hardly worthy of any real praise.

Pipe-bombing literally involves putting 20-30 AOE ships in the way of a moving force. It's like putting 30 wizards at a port in spot. You'll get YT and it's funny, but it has no bearing on their success or participation in the end-game. It's just engineering situations where you can kill someone without having to risk a fair fight. Great.

Goonswarm still owns it with numbers, recruits and contests.

Can't really talk bad about Eve, it was revolutionary in terms of MMOs.

I bought star citizen, supposed to launch most of the content this year

eve has been out for more then 10 years

Rooks and kings has killed THOUSANDS of players with like 24 people, they have gone up against amazing odds and won tons of times,

and even when they lose they always manage to slip away. I merely posted this video to show you guys the strategy that can go into pvp in that game, it isnt just a wizard spamming 1 button saying LOL

it took amazing amounts of time to show you guys this video and i was blown away by it, someone who played eve off and on for a few years.

i still have a char training, you dont need to play to "level" In eve, but just to counter what gradner says, goonswarm no longer owns shit, with the jump drive fatigue they arent doing much other then killing freighters with BCs in high sec.
