Looking for Noob Friendly Guild

I played EQ back in the glory days, but havn't played for well over 10 years. Just getting back in and trying P99. Any guilds out there accepting lowbies? Thanks!

Check out this page: http://wiki.project1999.com/Guilds:Guild_List

It has a list of most of the guilds on the server, including the ones you're probably most interested in, the casual or "family" guilds.

I might as well piggy-back on this thread.

I'm looking for a guild that does do end-game mobs but is willing to take on players who aren't maxed out. I don't want to join a "leveling guild", only to leave them when I want to raid.

I'm a level 22 Paladin, in MST time zone, I can commit a decent chunk of time but I would definitely like a non-super-serious-face guild. Life first, then EQ. :p

Let me know!

If a guild leader/officer happens to be checking this forum after your post, but before it gets buried under other posts, they might notice you and invite you guys ... but that's a very big if. You're both far more likely to have success in finding a guild by being proactive. I'd recommend that you:
  1. Check out the guild list page of the wiki that I linked
  2. Look for ones that stand out to you; for instance wormed you might find Blackheart Pirates, Genocidal Tendancies and Storm Watch interesting, as they are all "Casual" guilds (which means they don't require level 45) who still do some raiding.
  3. Check out the guild's website and/or their thread here in the guild forum to learn more about them and further narrow your choices down.
  4. Once you've settled on a guild, look for their officers (listed on the wiki page) in-game; shoot them a tell saying you're interested and they can tell you more about their guild's application proccess.

Hope that helps, and good luck finding a guild.

Thanks Loramin.

The Guild page on the wiki is wayyyy out of date. Genocidal Tendencies doesn't exist anymore. Pretty sure Storm Watch doesn't exist, either.

P.s. Kittens who say meow are noob friendly and have started raiding hate and fear at times.
