Rogue ExPerts

How much is the +28 str +20 stam Slam Boulder Quest make a difference?

vs human velious custom dragon helm, and only non illusion a rogue can get besides wood elf

I know we have some good rogue players here

deluxe dwarfs with +5 mr and barrel roll good ststs

brenard/rag wood elfs with sub par str and aesthetics

barb game breaking? big big tall get stuck in doors? I can't make up my mind

capping 200str at the low end huge in back stabs?

Slam vital?

rogue/human look great in armor models but stats are meh

looking good vs min max

How much would 28str/20sta be worth in gear to you? That's 1 his Velious or like 2-3 bis Kunark, it's kind of a big deal.

5mr pretty negligible.

Wood elfs and half elfs actually look boss in plate graphics but stats suck.

Barb actually is like playing a human in first person, you're akin to a medium race player, not a large one. Also, DE mask or others if you really need to get around.

Slam is on the same timer as backstab, not sure who would want to racial slam (1dmg) versus backstabs but ymmv.

Gnome/HFL/dwf are the only real considerations outside of Barb because of size and wall hax.

Go Barbarian. They are the best rogues simply because of the reasons listed. Although as a.barbarian you will be ALOT easier to hit. Although in Velious huge raid gear advantage negates the.racial stat differences, boulders would allways be a nice thing to have. Honestly just pick whichever race that will be able to keep you immersed because you will be looking at that character alot. I picked wood elf because of high dex and agility plus its not to big.

listen to agatha, he managed to loose mage best of the best without doing 1 point of damage to his opponent in a enclosed space.

everquest scientist slathar said it should be impossible but he pulled it off

protip: go gnome, thank me later

why gnome? Not a troll serious question. IMO barb or dwf is best.
Does a gnome rogue have perks I just am not aware of?

Gnomes have a graphic bug where you can see through walls, also if you make a short name you can Los hide behind real small structures for spells and General visibility, it's not a hard coded game advantage as much as it allows a skilled player to exploit the size

barbarians have more stats which wont matter at high end, slam is on the same cooldown as backstab which makes it pointless

pick a small char or regret it, rogues are hard
