Keeps trying to patch

I took a vacation from P99 and now when I click to play it tries to patch but simply says connecting and then fails for lack of connection. I cant find anything that has changed on this site, and yes my eqhost.txt has been changed. So what the heck is wrong?

If it's trying to patch you're running eqgame.exe without patchme to tell it NOT to patch...
