Class needs?
 

Old player here looking at rolling into P1999. Are there any roles or classes currently lacking on the server that the community needs? Can't seem to find where and what people are recruiting or need. Thanks!

Needs people that like to play and be a constructive Norrathian.

Unlike other games, all classes are valuable in EQ and unlike other servers, there is not a single class (like SK HT or mage pet army ) that can singularly handle raid mobs. Play whatever, get level 46 and app to a guild. Really there are only two factors that matter. 1. What play style(hours capable of devoting/hard core VS casual) and 2. Your personality.

12 mages with epics could handle any 32k dragon I am pretty sure...

The game ends at lvl 60. Play whatever you want.

There's this ugly mindset about people refusing to group with hybrids because of the xp penalty. To be honest, that's never stopped me from grouping with them because I honestly don't care.

But seriously, play whatever class you like. Get them to 60 and then create another.

I think the least played classes are SK/Pal/Ranger/Wizard.

That said, play what you enjoy.

Magicians are myths as well.
