Robe of Ishva was post-kunark
 

The Robe of Ishva is a post-kunark item and I saw it being auctioned today. It came out with the Black Burrow revamp after Kunark. I have not gone to Black Burrow on this server, but if Ishva is dropping, I'm wondering if the zone itself is post-Kunark as well.

You're not remembering anything correctly!

You sure about that? The Robe of the Ishva on Allakhazam's item page does not show a creation date, but the first comment occurs in early 2001. Kunark dropped in April 2000. I know the Robe was discovered on the first day of Black Burrows revamp so I would think the Allakhazam item entry and subsequent comments would occur shortly after.

Aye. No solid data on the old Paw. They used the newer version because of that. :)

Splitpaw was revamped SHORTLY after EQ's release. No one knows much about the original Splitpaw because it was revamped so quickly. Ishva was definitely well into classic, and matter of fact his respawn was decreased in Kunark for rogue epic.

According to my research, Paw was updated November or December of 1999, before Kunark was released.

It's moment's like this I wish my mind was accessable and able to be used as a source. I spent WEEKS in old paw before the revamp. I knew every inch of the zone (snakes on the bridge, judge room, the shamen ren rex in the doors just off the judge room). Wish someone had documented it, it was a fun zone (even though the CR's were the greatest PITA).
