Project 1999 - Is this the place?

Is this the place where we can be humble and nice and find fantasy friends (because the intent of the game was to group) and make lasting hunting gamers, in this fantasy world?

Is this the place to know it is dangerous outside, and playerability was determined from the hard lessons learned at a young age?

Is this the place where you can go for an adventure, and maybe travel with a group and discover that they are good to group with for a little while and put on friends to maybe follow up with later? (if they are on and time permits)

Is this the place where we can test our own abilities in interesting places and be joyfully scared of new places (No, I don't know my way in Blackburrow, I think going down there may be too far!- I fell!- sorry group! I'll come back! please wait for me there is nothing like this in Odus! I can't see! what was that! Hurry- kill it!- you go! let me die I will try to gate)

Is this the place where you can shout for kindly elders to maybe help you with a quest that you have tried to compete in earnest, but the foe was too hard at your age?(level) With a promise of spiderling silks in return because I have not alot of money just right now, and I need to save for some spells, only if you have time...please.

Is this the place where you can puzzle at the map and think to get to high-pass hold is...north from qeynos just to deliver mail, and shout for a group to make the trip there, offering summoned food, water and bandages? and maybe have a group that will let you follow them, embarrasingly dragging your corpse in High Hold pass to get a no exp rez, just so I can deliver mail? (thank you very much, I think staying here is too dangerous for me at the moment, no worry, I can gate back, thank you again)

oh! is...is this the place where with that group I found and we stuck together for decades of levels, meeting happenstance at first...

....is this the place where we can be hero's, if just for one day.....

(and never-ever-EVER! think of selling toon's for IRL Money or just to re-roll otherwise I mean really, what's the point?)
