The other factor is that it puts the entire server on the line. As it stands the project is defined as a not for profit emulator server and the manager/owner of this server has to show solidarity when it comes to ensuring that no money is being made on this project. With RMT sites popping up and showing that financial gains are being made on P1999 by 3rd parties, there could be legal flow-on affects since IP laws are still in effect.
