Dial-a-Ride?
 

Dial-a-port has been so successful. Want to go to Chardok? Get a port to DL, great but now you have that long ass run across DL, then across BW.
What if we also had Dial-a-Ride to go along with it? Bards that ride along with you then zip you across zones with selos for extra tips. Those Chardok AE fat cats that need to get their cash flow started asap will tip big!
Even better down the road for those huge boring Velious zones to run across!

I think this would be a great idea, especially to be incorporated into the Dial-A-Port (thug) infrastructure. Running to Seb? Donate another 50pp and enjoy selo's DL->KC then EJ->Seb. Perhaps they would charge flat rates per zone, like 25pp per classic zone, 50 per kunark. I would DEFINITELY pay for this to reduce my travel time from places like OT to BW, OT to DL, DL to Seb.

I like this idea.

I could be wrong but I think someone actually started up another <Dial ____ > guild already...though I haven't seen him on in about a month or 6 weeks.

Might even have been <Dial A Ride> :p

Its likely you actually saw the cleric named Dialarez, who was not actually in Dial-a-Port (at least when I saw), but will of course show up on /who all dial, just like that enchanter that does all the time.

The other guild was called <Tell a Port>
