can't download patch so cant play
 

i am trying to download project 1999 v36 so i can unzip and update my files so i can play but window jsut closes instantly.
i have tried everything and reading though forms. if anyone has any idea please help.
i'm just technologically impared.

What operating system?

Win 8 does a funky auto dump to a documents or downloaded folder sometimes and if your not familiar with it, you would not know it was downloaded as you described.

i just tried to email
P99Files36-2.zip to my computer that has eq on it , i was unable to to download it as it says it has a virus
trojan.gen.SMH.2

this might be the reason i cant even get the open to downlaod or same the file any help?

No virus in it from the official website.

May want to turn off the virus protection program, download and save, then turn that back on....

Make sure your making an exception on the install too for the program, or the virus protection will remove the DLL file that has to run to allow you to play, and it won't ever work either.

yah but i cant even get to the link website. de activated my anti virus and turned everything off even internet securtiy.
problem is i cant even get the screen that allows me to download or save the file
i click on the link and i small window appear and dispears instantly
i will try and download it on my laptop and i guess just file transfer over the whole game.

had to download unzip files on laptop share them across network to main computer then over write old files but i am back baby and loving every minute of it!!!!:D:

What you're saying about disappearing instantly is usually what happens on my system with a successful download.
