Issues zoning into Kunark zones on sattelite internet
 

Hey everyone. I posted a thread earlier last month about me not being able to zone into Kunark zones. It Disconnects me as soon as its about to zone in. Upon Character select, ti chooses the character , loads the zone then disconnects upon entry.
I have done clean installs. I deleted ini files. Done evrything I could possibly do.
Still no go.
I am on sattelite internet. Would this have anything to do with my issue? I also tried turning off firewalls and everything.
Anyone have ANY idea at all. This is kinda crappy only being able to play Old school zones.

I don't know why satellite would cause any issue like this...

I do wonder how the heck you can stand to play at all with the constant lag on Satellite though.

Well I cant figure it out. I disabled firewalls althogether to try and it doesnt help. Ive done clean installs. Ive deleted my ini files. Tried different pcs on the same internet and does the same thing so i dont think its hardware related. Opened all ports neccesary. Turned off antivirus. Opened as admin. Made compatible with XP sp2. Tried WINEQ2. Loaded with eqemu. Cleaned registry rigorously.
At this current moment ive been trying to log in to my main that is in Greater Fay. Its been 3 hours of loding character select screen, selecting toon, waiting 3 or 4 mins to load zone. Then disconnect once it loads.
It may be a timeout issue?
Is there any logs I can upload to help further this process?

And the lag isnt bad, its constant latency .. itns not jumpy or anything like that. its literaly .3 of a second difference from anyone else

Do you have an alternative connection you could try, to rule out the sat?

Even dial up would work, or a couple of mins using your phone as a hot spot.

No I dont have any alternative, out of cell range and no modem on my pc ;p

I started an iksar, was able to zone into cab, fob, emerald jungle, loio But not FV.
Gfay doesnt work either 100% of the time.

You probably have the best EQ experience out of all of us.....Danger at every zoneline!!! :P
