Just digging this up again, seems a long running issue. Any fix for this?

This is likely done on purpose to deter or make it less convenient for RMTers to sell accounts

To prevent RMTs I'd say ?

You know, with all people who've forgotten what email they created an account with/ don't have access to it anymore :D:D asking to reset it (so they can sell it and buyer can use any email address they want)

Actually hadn't considered the old RMT days, the date seems to coincide. RIP old ass email account, I never really knew you.
