Shaman spell: Fury
 

Is this spell supposed to drain mana while active? It doesn't mention it in either the wiki descrpition or the one on Zam

It should not do that. I really can't think off the top of my head ANY spell once it has been cast, that keeps draining Mana. Some keep draining your Health, like a DoT cast on you, but Mana??

definitely drains mana for the duration of the buff. Noticed this when I hit 34 and I just figured it was meant to be shit.

Yes, it is supposed to. It didn't, on this server, a few years ago, and at that time it was a pretty useful spell (I think it gives HP regen along with some stat buffs). But then it got nerfed to be in line with classic, and now it's pretty much useless.

Are you sure you're not thinking of the lvl 19 spell Frenzy Estu? that had a hp regen component and is definitely supposed to drain mana

So this should NOT be draining mana?

I'm not sure; it's been a while. It's my recollection that Frenzy, Fury, Rage, etc. are one line of spells with very similar effects. Way, way earlier in this server's history, they gave HP regen but did not continually drain mana, and so were excellent spells. Then they got patched to drain mana. I guess now maybe some of them are just stat buffs? I dunno, sorry pal.

Ahh forgot about that one. But not till Vleious, and the way that is going might never happen lol. :( Good find though. :)
