Going to try and start playing this weekend, I'm not a classic EQ veteran but I did start in 2002. I've stuck with SoE's version for the last 12 years, but I really miss the old days. I haven't had a chance to set the game up yet, but when I do I'll be making a high elf Enchanter, named Eflawn. Add me or send me tells, if you'd like to play together.

I saw almost 1200 online when I logged in earlier tonight. There was almost 40 people in Greater faydark!

Eflawn, I just made a mage and moved him to Greater Fay, I will keep an eye out for you, I am almost 5th level now, but would gladly group with you if you are lower.
