For some unknown and silly reason, when secrets was on sirkens stream, he failed to mention that beta was starting on January 1st starting with just classic zones (and iksar/vah shir newbie areas+POK). Characters will never be wiped even when they finally finish all the content up to PoP in the far future. Lots of people are logged in, guilds are being formed, and adventure is to be had.

I need somebody to carry me through the game while I afk so if that sounds like something you'd like to do please let me know.

PS: The client for the server is old enough where you can use the real old classic ui if you want and has the original old classic sky effects (more classic then P99)

Sounds like a fun server. Only issue I would have is if he would add something to the code/ddl files to spoof shit off of peoples computers. Guy isn't the most stable person to trust and not to mention he kinda did it once already in a different way on people playing on this server.

secrets only helped with some dev work and has no involvement in running the server, in fact he didnt even know that the beta opening was today

and to clarify- it is run by the same people who worked on and run PEQ

The mac client sucks a big one. Super inefficient.

The only changes i'll make to this server that require you to download anything are ones you all can clearly see the source code to.

EQMule did the clientsided DLL work for this, and he's a pretty damn reputable MacroQuest2 dev.
