How are you able to see other players dot/spell damage during the fight?

He's actually supposed to have significantly less for a while, but he was tested and balanced as is to require approximately the same amount of people/difficulty/time as he did in classic.

Not all values will be exactly the same because the underlying code is not exactly the same.

We did vindi with 24 on live with alot less gear than here. Prolly tuned harder here to be honest.
