Call of Flame
 

Questgiver Lily Ashwood is not responding as if I were a Ranger when I type the prompt:

"Who is Ganelorn Oast?"

I receive the message "I'm sorry, I don't trust you with such a task" as though I were the wrong class.

Faction is Amiable and I see Lily has no faction otherwise I would have tried to raise it first.

Attached is a screenshot of the interaction, with my class as Pathfinder (Ranger) clear in the inventory screen.

Character is a Half-Elf Ranger named Curunol level 54 on the account "Feanol"

Do you have to be a Tunare worshipper? The npc is wood elf...

try 'letter', or 'i'll take the letter'

I'll fix up the missing quest text later.

It's not my belief that race/religion has anything to do with it. There's nothing on ZAM, Tessmage, P99 Wiki about any restriction other than being the Ranger class.

You need to talk to brother not the girl. From wiki:

You say, 'Who is Ganelorn Oast?'

Devin Ashwood says 'Ganelorn Oast! For he has single-handedly caught more poachers than any other ranger. He is credited for helping numerous endangered species recover from certain extinction. I suppose I am lucky he is fond of my sister, as I am soon to train under him as an apprentice. Perhaps one day I will even [call upon the flames] in the way that he does.'

Added some missing dialogue between Lily and Devin.

If you follow the prompts, Lily will ask you about a letter. That is the keyword needed to continue on.

I may now, too, Call Upon the Flames as Ganelorn does.

Saying "I will take the letter" to Lily Ashwood without any previous dialogue worked as you recommended. The rest of the quest line went along fine, no incidents.

Bumping this because i think it may be broken again. I'm a 49 ranger and she doesn't trust me when i tell her i will take the letter. Ive followed all the prompts and just tried asking her straight up. She con's amiable.

Min quest level is 50.
