Scarecrows in West Karana

Good Evening

Scarecrows in West Karana near the Miller's farm are not immune to normal fear. Spook the Dead and level 4 Fear both work on them.

Alunova 12-27-2014 08:34 PM

Should they be immune to all fears? Is there any evidence?

Feathers 12-29-2014 01:18 PM

They are undead so they should be immune to normal fear.

Alunova 12-29-2014 04:52 PM

I used to fear kite spectres and I know I've feared other undead before, do you have more evidence on this?

SamwiseRed 12-29-2014 05:02 PM

ye i thought the undead only fear was just more mana efficient. not that undead couldnt be feared. just like animals can be feared with regular fear or animal fear. i dont think this was even in WoW. the bigger question is, who xps in WK on scarecrows :)

Feathers 12-29-2014 11:16 PM

You're right. I went out to get evidence, and every damn undead I tried it on ran away in terror at the level 4 fear. Maybe I was thinking that since you needed special invis for them, you needed special fear. Oh well.

I got to level 20 there AND got all my words for level 16 research spells... all in one convenient location. :D

Considering this resolved.

i do pose one question though, i havent encountered an animal that regular invis didnt suffice. so what exactly is the purpose of the spell invis vs animal? is it just a cheaper invis for only animals or are some animals meant to see through invis (im assuming by "scent".)

besides using invis vs animal to insta kill pet as a mage, i dont think ive EVER seen that spell casted.

Very limited use spell to invis by animals in dungeons.

I believe druids use this one over camo to break charms when they do their charm thing.
