Resists are fucked
 

The worst EQ PVP can get is when CC lands easy mode.

- Malosini lands almost always even with near 200mr.

- Blinds land way too easy.

- Roots land way too easy.

All targets being rooted, blinded or snared make PVP easy mode, and frustrating if you're the one dying.

It's not how it was on Live, and it isn't balanced, it's just broken.

Hit box was a good nerf if you felt melee were OP, but making everyone cc'd is just lame.

haynar has posted several of times that he has scaled back the debuff increase for pvp to 50% (as it was on live) from 100% (as it is currently) this change will only go live when they patch though.

They know I believe next patch will fix. Till then chanters/shamans are boss.

Agreed resists are fucked.

Oh OK my bad.

Just make the blind check like 25 MR for 100% resist and be done with it.

Need emergency patch for game breaking resists atm

its not really game breaking if everyone falls under the same resist system. unless you are trying to balance this game for 1v1 then lul you picked the wrong game to pvp in.

That's exactly the area Haynar is taking it - with MR counting for nothing all PVP is dumbed down completely.

Rogue BIS is around 180 MR, a monk around 150.

Malosini takes off 80ish and lands almost unresistable, meaning both classes have roughly 0 MR.

Blinds / Roots(edit) land first cast.

Just makes it boring and dumb - Samwise who's 9-4 on the leaderboard, and I've never seen him ever in end game PVP seems immersed in this discussion though after reading the PVP server chat thread -_-.
