Hey I just fired the p99 back up and have started over from ground zero. I'm not feeling the necrotizing action so I scratched up a dark elf cleric. Is it possible to complete this Swish's 1-50 solo guide without being getered-out with gear?

I know this is sort of a old thread but a Cleric really doesn't need to much gear to be a Battle Cleric other than a Damned Good Weapon and some AC stuff. Go for mana items over Wiz items low end. that stuff is pretty cheap from JC'ers. Lot of cheap Armor out there but the cheap stuff is heavy, ergo, Bronze is cool looking but heavy as hell. I doubt you have a LOT of strength on a DE.

So yeah, I would say it can be done on the cheap to 50. Just like any class on here, the more skill you have playing it the better it does.
