Did a search on "double mana cost" but yielded no results.

I'm not sure how widespread this issue is, but Minor Healing on my ranger (he's level 20) very often costs 20 mana instead of 10. As a ranger I do a ton of self-healing. Because of the quick casting time it's very easy to cast, sit, look for the med tick and then recast. I would estimate that about 25% of the time it costs 20 mana. Sometimes I recover the 10 "lost" mana as if the client is correcting itself but often I sit and only gain my normal meditation amount (which happens to be 10 mana at level 20). I can easily recreate this in-game probably within about 5 minutes, it happens that often.

I've not really paid attention as to whether this happens with any of my other spells as I don't chain cast those. But with Minor Healing at least it definitely seems to happen in phases. It's not like my first cast costs 20 mana, the second 10 and then the third back up to 20. It seems to happen for minutes at a time and then suddenly stops.

Oh and one more thing. Ever since I started fletching my own arrows I have failed to gain a single skill point in Archery. This is 20% through level 20, using 2 arrows per mob, every mob. Coincidence? Extreme bad luck? My Archery is stuck on 52.

My fletching is going up slowly. You have to make arrows that are difficult for your skill level. This helped me.

I used over 200 arrows to get from 98 to 100...

No I mean since I started using the arrows I fletched my Archery skill has been going up super-slowly. It has actually gone up now, 2 point in 45% of a level. Thats about 80 arrows on dark blue mobs.

I do the same thing sir. Archery is slow for everyone across the board, store bought or arrows you made yourself.

Is it normal to go through 200 arrows and not get a single skillup?

I think the skillups on Archery are totally borked.


ANyone noticed this?

You're 50, so I guess this is at the higher rung of skill level, of which I have no experience - I never experienced skillup difficulty at mid-level skills (50-100ish or so)...

I was skilling up fine until I reached 100 archery.... now it just won't budge much at all.

Prolly 2000 arrows to go up to skill 118.
