Players entering a zone appear in front of you for a moment
 

Thought this may have just been something strange going on for just me, but I was able to confirm it with a friend today

Basically when someone enters the zone (either logging in or zoning in) their character appears in front of me for about 5 seconds. They don't do anything, but I am able to target them before they disappear. The players at the time are no where near us - sometimes actually really far away. Noticed this in OOT and OT.

Aside from making me constantly poop myself, I can see how having a target on someone that just entered the zone may be beneficial to people who are good at this whole player versus player combat thing

Anyway, if this is an old red bug I apologize for the redundant bug report

I'm experiencing this as well. I believe it started (or at least became much more frequent) with the patch that caused npcs to all be clumped in one location.

Joined a group the other night. Zoned in and seen my group sitting there and was able to target them. Across the zone they seen me. For the rest of the night every person who zoned in popped infront of us. Big advantage for pvp.

I saw this also quite a few times in Highhold Pass. They just drop out of the sky in front of me for a few seconds.

I found the issue.
