myconid spore king dispelling random spells
 
is this working as intended?

myconid spore king is dispeling random buffs, not the top one or 2, had ressist poison, ressist disease, ressist fire, epic click, robe click, hero , symbo,l, and then another shammy buffs, in this order, he started dispelling symbol, then epic click then ressis fire....

Edit : By the way, i dont remind this at classic at all, any though?

I suppose, but it was in the patch notes that they changed cancel magic

at the very least ( since big patches come out once every 5 months or so ) people who play here should read up on what gets changed

Well cancel magic was OP here. It should always been more random in terms of its dispell. Haynar's counter addition to the spell was added to add some of the randomness back to dispelling so things were not so unclassically easy mode to get rid of detrimental effects which for some encounters make or break your survival

Cancel magic sticks trivializing encounters like Talendor, Chardok Queen, Gorenaire for example are not classic. It was important for non-dispelling classes to pick them up and use to 'attempt' to remove the effects on them but they were never an 'Easy Button" like in the past

In fact, I remember when I first started raiding on this server I was not using cancel magic to dispell things and would get yelled at by my guild to ONLY use cancel magic bc it was unresistable and would always always remove the top junk buff never any of the debuffs that the raid would start to stack on the encounter

I thought it was very odd that there was literally zero purpose for Nullify and Annul magic before this change which never made a bit of sense.

you would be surprised how many 'bug' posts get made from people who simply run to make a post before doing any actual searching.
