Notification of Parole Hearing - The Mystical Order

Only victims, victims' next-of-kin, or immediate family members may attend parole hearings. If necessary, one support person may accompany the victim or family member to the hearing. Support persons are not permitted to participate in the hearing. Victims and their families also may choose to designate someone to be their representative at the hearing who will speak on their behalf.

A victim may appear in person at the institution where an inmate is confined or via video from a River Vale's Attorney's Office and offer a statement during the hearing. A victim may also submit a written or recorded statement to the Commission in advance of the hearing. In addition, a victim may request permission to present an oral statement at the Commission's office in Erudin before a Hearing Examiner who will summarize the statement for the case record.

Crime Victims Rights Act 18 Norrath § 3771 accords rights to victims throughout the parole and supervised release processes. These rights are:
The right to be reasonably protected from the accused.

The right to reasonable, accurate, and timely notice of any public court proceeding, or any parole proceeding, involving the crime or of any release or escape of the accused.

The right not to be excluded from any such public court proceeding, unless the court, after receiving clear and convincing evidence, determines that testimony by the victim would be materially altered if the victim heard other testimony at that proceeding.

The right to be reasonably heard at any public proceeding in the district court involving release, plea, sentencing, or any parole proceeding.

The reasonable right to confer with the attorney for the Government in the case.

The right to full and timely restitution as provided in law.

The right to proceedings free from unreasonable delay.

The right to be treated with fairness and with respect for the victim's dignity and privacy.

However, as the server will be locked, we assume that when the server opens back up, all dragons will likely be up (either due to normal spawning or a server reset). This here gives advantage to IB as they will already be in VP camped with their raid force. We would like to move into VP before hand and have all members of both guilds respect the VP player rules currently in place by starting at the blue pad. However, TMO will not engage anything before 12:01am EST Saturday, Nov 29.

Doing so would create a fair scenario to both guilds given the interruption of a server-wide lockout crossing with suspensions.
