Enc/Dru combo?
Rollin new toons with my brother was thinking about Dru/Enc was wondering if the druid can buff the chanters charmed pets later on? I know Enc/clr is like the supreme combo with sham monk but wanna do something different.
Was thinking cleric/warrior too since there both pretty easy and my bro doesn't wanna do a sk pally but that seems like its going to be brutally boring of a time with lack of dps? Too bad kunark aint out i'd just do nec/enc sux |
as a druid..i grouped with an enchanter once, he was a couple levels higher..we were around level 37..and killing hill giants was amazingly easy and super fast..sometimes pulling more than 2..so i say go for it...couldnt answer your charmed pets question though, never experienced that.

Yes. all the charmed pets can be buffed by anyone.

Druid snare + enchanter fear = fearkiting win

ahhh forgot about the fear kiting aspect thats interesting

-- As for the OP: Dru/Enc doesn't truly shine until PoP. The buffing the pet thing works, but when your charm breaks you have a buffed mob. |

Ech./Cru. combo = by FAR the most powerful EQ duo IF both players know precisely what the hell they're doing. Period.

I would contend that Necromancer and Enchanter are more versatile. They have access to charm kiting, kiting and reverse kiting, crowd control mana regeneration, FD splitting, etc.
The only thing a Druid can do better than a Necro is SoW and port. |

This.. the sekret no one talks about is that Necros are really the second best healing class in Classic, on top of being Enchanters who can FD. :) Necros can pair with any other class and make a really solid duo. |
