Having trouble at 27
 

So I moved on from the gargs in OoT to the sister island, and those damn sisters with the Long Sword's drop charm and resist my roots/nukes all day, even with tash on. Can anyone point me to a good charm spot at 27?

Lately WW Giants has been camped like nobody's business or I would be there. I don't like that low xp in the bard zones either like OT. It's been a while since I have played a caster past 25 and I don't at all remember where I use to solo on my Shaman. I guess HHK is an option I think, but then I have to grind my FP faction again and I will never get around to that.

Take Antinime or one of the dwarves (husband/wife) from the other side of the island, they're a little lower, and try to fear kite with a couple of nukes included perhaps?

WW giants are a real angry nerd spot lately, so much mad in there you can feel it as soon as you zone in.

South Karana aviaks for a couple of levels? Stuff outside Splitpaw?
Lake of Ill Omen outside the sarnak fort (by the lake) til 29-30?
The bard diet? (go to Feerott, that one pays out the most)...not technically a charm spot :p

Just a few ideas.

Get a group you selfish chanter. Sitting on an island smokin all that quality rock by yourself. For shame!

You might try the brutes in WW, in the tunnels at the Dalnir zone. I think I did 27-32 there with minimal competition.

group in hhk and charm that rogue that backstabs for crazy amounts.

Great way to make money too until ~34

Can do 27-36 in SolA ridiculously fast in a group.

If you're dead set on soloing, I would suggest upper guk until 35. I was able to solo there easily and efficiently until about 34-36. You can use lvl 4 mesmerize to memblur every mob before killing so your pet doesn't take 50% experience from you. If you're not getting like 2-4% exp per kill minimum solo at 27, you're doing something wrong.
