Plane of Mischief Bind Affinity
Currently Plane of Mischief does not allow binding. Attempting to cast Bind Affinity returns message to try a city.
Should be able to bind anywhere in Mischief if you can cast it yourself or can click a Locket of Escape or Ring of the Dead. http://planeofmischief.com/advice_column.htm Quote:

I know casters could bind themselves and commonly did in the chest room as it was safe.
I think melees needed a locket? Not 100% there but pretty sure. |
100% sure melees needed a locket to bind in PoM.
Sort of a useless bind for Melee though. It should be a casters playground zone. So many shamans locking down camps, will be fun. |
Long as the harder mobs are MR immune and flee I'm kew with it.
Same with Ice Well, long as all the guards are MR/CR immune... I'm happy and the rest is pretty straight forward. |
Yup, can confirm, casters could bind but melees needed lockets/rings.

Still looking into this. It's set up properly to be self-only bindable, but it's not functioning right now.

When I tried this, it gave me the "try a city" error in red, but also followed up with the successful bind text after that. My bindpoint had also successfully changed after relogging.
You guys sure this isn't the same cosmetic bug that used to happen in Neriak and other zones? |
My test box earlier, I got the red text too. If I did /char while still in the zone, it did not update. But it did server side it looks like. And when I zoned, it showed on a /char.

Confirmed, you get the "Try a city" message but it indeed bound my character in the exact spot I cast it. I bound myself inside the castle too btw.
