Looking for the Paineel Newbie Yard
 

I just created a Erudite Necromancer and I am embarrassed to admit that I can't find the Paineel newbie yard. I looked at a map and thought I might need to go through the Toxxuia forest so I got to the Portal C area of Paineel, went down a couple hallways and two sets of doors, but then came to a dead end. I clicked on a rock there and it said something like I needed a key ?

Can somebody let me know how to get my Erudite Necromancer to the Paineel newbie yard ? I know the answer must be right in front of me but I can't see it.

On a side note, I read on the EQEmu wikki that The Warrens and Stonebrunt Mountains aren't in the game yetl Is this true ?

The rock you clicked on is an activator for the elevator. Take the key from your inventory and click it again, it'll lift you up to a ledge - follow that ledge straight to the newbie area :)

There is a skeleton near the dead end that will give you the key. Hail him and repeat what he says. Soemthing like"I needz the keyz"

Hail the guards and you can get a key if you don't already have one. Hold the key on your cursor and click the rock and you can use the elevator.

Indeed, stonebrunt and warrens are not in game yet.

When you exit the elevator, you'll be on a steep rock ledge.
Head straight into the tunnel ahead.
One of the paths takes you to newbie area.
Another path takes you to Toxx Forest (which you can do around level 4 or 5 I believe)
There are wiz and druid portals in Toxx Forest when you are ready to leave the area.

It HAS to be the 2 guards at the base of the lift (or the two in the newbie area) to get a key.

Not sure if that's classic or not, but it does the job :p
