How do we get surnames?
 

Title says it all, how do we get a surname? Is this a petition thing?

Attain lvl 20+ then type /surname lastnamehere

or do u mean the other titles before the name?

Also if you want to change your surname or add an apostrophe you can petition for it and they will change it for you.

Dont petition too many time on the same characters for surname changes, i got two char that can't have a surname anymore, only having a big blank space, i abused it a bit too much haahaa

Can GMs add umlauts on surnames? Or only apostrophes?

No umlauts. We only use the accent key (`). We don't use it to separate words. It is used to create dark elf type names.
