dire wolves in iceclad
 

I have been trying to camp the dire wolf stalker in iceclad for the eyepatch quest. After killing the wolves that were up to get a respawn I noticed none were respawning. I thought maybe it was just that they had a long respawn time or something. I waited overnight and logged back in, and there are still none up. Is this normal? Or can the wolf placeholders be dervishes and giants? Everything I saw on alla just talk about killing the wolves as phers, nothing about them changing into different types of mobs.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Most of the phs can be giants as well. I think it wasn't an issue on eqlive because there were always people killing both.
