Splitpaw Data
Have the devs seen this stuff before?
http://web.archive.org/web/200012021...asp?mapID=1509 Mobs/items/quests in left column are from original Paw. http://web.archive.org/web/200008312...q/maps/Paw.GIF http://web.archive.org/web/200008312...q/maps/Paw.GIF Image of mob spawn locations. http://web.archive.org/web/200010050.../splitpaw.html Contains screen shot of old Paw showing a couple mob locations which match the map above. Edit: Taken from http://www.axclassic.com/forums/view...=1322&start=15 This thread contains more information than I posted here, go check it out if you're interested. |

Yup that was the original PaW. If you wanted to get your mid teens group together at Qeynos (or your group made the decision in Black Burrow because it was too crowded) and make the run out there, it was quite the awesome place. Due to the massive over crowding of BlackBurrow, you could most likely make the run out here and have some room and a good camp in the dungeon.
And then they changed it to the new Paw, wierd, that I actually still think of it as being new. Graendal SK proj99 |
I think the problem is that they don't really have the ability to just recreate the old zone. Even if they knew all of the spawn information I don't think they have the time to invest into designing an entire zone when the "new" paw is still eventually classic anyway.

Didn't the zone itself actually just look different? As in, didn't they remodel the dungeon completely? I could be mistaken.

It is all well and good but, by this time on live the zone was, as it is now on p99.
