Let me ask you all something....so Rothgar and Frug asked me to help them kill the commander in blackburrow to which I replied I had to log off b/c my son just woke up. He said if you come and buff us I'll pay. So I spent another 10 minutes giving them shaman buffs and healing them to full, afterward frug went ld and rhothgar just ran off and laughed. Is this common?

yes, but only on red.

One time on red a shaman said "trade clarity for sow?".

I was on a trip to Qeynos so that was damn handy - met him on the EK ramp.

It was a trap!

Yeah lesson learned i guess. Its unfortunate, I figured since only a few people returned to EQ classic that everyone was cool ya know? Like old school players, older, etc... It's things like this that turned good natured people into less trusting, less helpful players.

Even so, there aren't actually too many who are outright douches, and most of them are busy poopsocking dragons.

People like that do exist here, but they're definitely in the minority.

Fortunately we also have lots of really nice, helpful people and they more than make up for the others, IMO.
