Still hoping Texas gets invaded/wiped out today.

10 hours 23 minutes to go (EST).

Except when being invaded from the south by illegals, than the federal govt makes them fight blind and with both hands tied behind their back....

I don't know if the terrorists will let you keep your lolicon collection.

The whole ISIS in Texas thing is just an attempt to bring more attention to the border security situation, which is an important issue but it's simply making them look paranoid and delusional.

The drug cartels will not stand for anyone that threatens their power or trade, and a group of Muslim fanatics starting a war on the border would be really bad for business.

The United States hasn't been invaded in 202 years so trying to figure out a state's readiness you need to rely on numbers and hypotheticals. For me it's fair to figure out which states are ready for in invasion by comparing it to which states are best prepared for a Zombie outbreak.

This is of course pretty absurd, but it does site a very relevant statistic within it, the number of active military personnel within the state relative to the size of the state. Now while Texas is in the top 10% of states in regards to the number of military personal, when you take that number and break it down by square mile they are ranked in the bottom 20 states. Couple this with the fact that while everyone talks about guns in Texas, they are also in the bottom 50% of states when looking at guns per square mile.

In short, no Texas is not one of the states most equipped to deal with an invasion. They can't even keep their section of the Mexican border in order.

I don't live in or near Texas so I don't see your point here.

To be fair texas has tons of nothing. You should restruct your findings for population centers. Including towns and the like. Stop being dense for proper accurate statistics.
