Caster mobs hit like melee mobs?

Anyone else notice how Caster mobs hit(dmg) like Melee mobs? On top of them being able to cast spells.

Sadly, that's classic. They do "normally" have less HP than melee mobs though.

But hey, at least they don't bash!

Just heads up remember caster mobs here on p1999 have full spell books too, and not limited a set of spell like live.

So NOT only can a Caster mob melee like a kung fu master and beat you senseless with its fists, it can also incinerate your perty face with a full arsenal of spells at the same time 8).

Unless you come up to one that has sow, in which case hopefully the zoneline is nearby.

They're mostly shaman mobs in my experience, and I hate them! Always try and get a sow and invis if you can for traveling <3

Caster mobs where dreaded on live because they hit just as hard, or only like 5% less and nuke like crazy and while they have somewhat less HP... not much

They do make some of the best pets though. Full compliment of level-appropriate spells, faster mana regen, AND good melee DPS.

Just keep those resists up.
