Monk Upgrade Advice
 

Was just able to purchase a fbss for my 37 iksar monk, and now have no idea what to save for next.

I have around 4.5k to spend, with an additional 2k in equipment I need to sell

Here is a breakdown of my equipment:

Main hand: Stave of Shielding
Off hand: Knuckle Duster
Belt: FBSS
Robe: Robe of living fungus
Earrings: Obsidian Bead Hoop x2 (I know I need diamondine earrings x2)
Rings: 5ac 55hp x2
helm: topknot headband
bracers: bracer of erollisi/scourgetail bracer
boots: kobold-hide boots
face: sarnak-hide mask
arms: gatorscale sleeves
legs: gatorscale (I think?)
gloves: wu's

bags: large soiled

I was thinking of either grabbing a peacebringer/IFS, turning my fbss into a sash of the dragonborn, or getting jboots.

JBoots are a solid choice.

Another alternative I'd suggest is get do the Robe quest, and maybe pay for the KC/Chardok pipe MQs for Robe of the Lost Circle.

I didn't think I could really start the robe quest until mid 40s?

I wouldn't get jboots. They are stupid overpriced right now in my opinion. I would personally stock up on some sow pots and upgrade some slots.

Robe is what... Targin and Raster? Both are high 30s- mid 40s camps. All the other pieces are soloable in the 30s I think.

How much do people charge for that? I don't know anyone above lvl 40 haha

Doing this with a single group is somewhat rough.

Last time we did it we had a 60 war, 3 60 rogues, and 2 clerics (60/59). Clerics ran out of mana and barely finished with using PoSky CH neck.

Basically the best possible single group excluding 2 Donal's clerics (which would've been no problem at all...)

Really want 2 groups to be safe on him. And I'd expect the cost of a robe kill would be 30-40k~. Those celestial fist books which are basically robe, immortals book and 2 pipes go for like 50-60k.

For a new helm you could always go exe hood, unless your into the no-graphic head slot.

A run down in Dalnir would be great upgrades for legs/hands/possibly arms

Azure sleeves are great for arm slot

You might also think about shelving the dual wield till 50+ and go Peacebringer
