Nobody actually plays anymore, we all just make up stories on the forums about playing. All of the drama without the fuss

For most people its the allure of joining the back of a queue and moving slowly to the front.

Do people still play? There are 602 online right now. Why do I still play? Not nostalgia; EQ is a great game with a lot of depth, lots of different areas and play styles, and different character classes to explore.

I play because I wish I was still that 13 year old kid without all the responsibility that I currently have.

A mortgage, 2 car payments, and 3 people depending on me to live? Where the hell did the time go...
