One of my chars is bound at the end of the south docks in Qey. When he gates while a boat is in port he gets a boat levitation effect that will remain throughout the zone.

I don't know if it has to be the one spot, or if the boat has to be docked or just in zone, or if you have to gate or if just zoneing works, or if it works in other zones with boats.

Anyway, I was able to repoduce by leaving the zone and gating back when a boat is at the dock. My char was bound at -166.00, 114.35, 3.75

The levitate seems to work just like the spell, but no icon. I didnt wait a long time to see if it ever faded. Walking on and back off the boat will end the effect, as will zoning or camping.

I believe this is a known bug. It also happens when zoning into TD on the raft from Oasis, while it is a pleasant surprise I reported it a couple years ago.

Known issue with how boats need to be implemented, resolving.
