canni2 quest

am looking into ways to repeat this quest for some my guildmates. eg some mid 30s shms.

fastest way to do it is to split the quest in 2 and do parts on differnt toons.

However am uncertain if a quest can be multi quested like this....

hand in 2 parts with one pcm then log in next toon and hand in next 2 parts.

Assume there is no reason why it cant be done??

the bottle neck on the quest is the Karnors drop. may park a lvl 30 necro therem to collect the drop.....

going to experiment with both methods of doing diamond dust part, trying to eliminate the run to TD. I cant recall if pestle only drops near xalgoz?? will have to find out )

Can buy other 2 parts...

anyone done this quest a few times. only done it once myself so far...

would dru in wolf form be attacked by great oogwump?lvl 40 dru.

I don't think this is multiquestable. There was no system in place to facilitate multiquesting until mid-Kunark, so any quest that was implemented before that system can't be multiquested. The exception is some quests that were retroactively changed to be multiquestable including VP key turn ins, epic quests, SoulFire, and some other stuff.

This means unless it was a "major" quest in classic/Kunark you probably can't multiquest it. Everything in Velious will be multiquestable.

So the answer is no, unless this quest was specifically altered to allow multiquesting (I'm not sure but I doubt it).

That can't be correct, unless you count newbie quests like the Runneye warbeads turn-in in Rivervale as "major". If you do that quest and turn in the beads one at a time, you'll often find you need less beads then you're supposed to need (eg. you need to turn in 4, but after turning in 2 you get XP).

Why? Because someone who came before you inadvertently multi-quested a few turn-ins before you got there. I'm pretty sure this can happen with any of the newbie "turn in X of ____" quests (eg. I've seen it with gnoll fangs in Halas), but it happens a lot with the warbeads in particular because there's a similar looking item called shattered warbeads that doesn't contribute to the quest (but people don't realize and turn it in on accident anyway, throwing off their count).

The point is, it's not just "major" quests that are multi-questable; quests that are literally for starting players (who shouldn't even understand concepts like multi-questing) are also MQ-able.
