Rod of Insidious Glamour...replacement?
 

I rather dislike the look of this. It is +12 CHA which is hard to beat but once I can reliably keep CHA over 200 with self buff, are there any obvious options to swap?

It appears the enchanter gear guide goes Rod to Epic with nothing in between.

Only time I don't use it is when I'm using GBS for resists. It looks awful, but it's not really replaced until VP charm 1HB or epic.

Road has great stats and is an instant cast "alliance". Clickies work by removing the global cooldown after a cast (the 1.5 second period after a cast where all gems are greyed out). By using your rod after a cast you can actually chain cast another spell. One of the reasons it's so good is because the rod:

- can be used indoor and outdoors.
- keeps the target (doesn't self target).
- actually serves a purpose for ranging an enemy in that it will successfully cast on an enemy that is equivalent to most of your destructive spells.
- doesn't draw agro so you can spam it on any NPC and it will not fail.

It has tons on uses and is an amazing item for the enchanter class (at least until the cooldown is patched out).

Rod looks super baller. Why do you hate having an awesome pimp mallet?

The Mallet/Coffee Cup combo is so awesome, it's like you're a high class pimp outside Starbucks. Just picture that Froglok Crown on your head.
