Necromancers' pets can feign death?

Hi everyone,

on our wiki there's a mention about necro pets being able to feign death:

Quote:

[...] The Necromancer's pet also has the ability to to feign death using "/pet feign", but it is restricted to be successful only 75% of the time which ultimately guarantees your pet dies 25% of the time you need it to survive a bad pull or aggro. [...]
When I had just got Feign Death at level 16 and had bad pulls, I would FD myself and then spam the "/pet back off" + "/pet feign" commands but it would still get bashed to death. My intention was to both save myself and the pet.

What is the proper way to FD a pet safely? Is this an ability that higher level pets gain, like life-tapping after level 44? Is it only available for the monk pet? Is it a non-classic feature that will never work here on P99 (e.g. it requires AAs)?

Whatever the case is I will be glad to update/correct/clarify the wiki.

Pet feign was a necro AA added in GoD I believe. It works on this server only cosmetically. You will see your pet fall over as is dead and lay there as a corpse. It does nothing to drop aggro though.

Hopefully they can remove that. The wiki should have that part edited out though.

Thanks Dal, I edited the wiki to make it accurate to P99.

Whoops. My bad. I thought I removed that. Good catch.
