Trying to Decide if Jboots would be worth farming 7.5k or just keep leveling my low 20's necro to 39-44 and farm oot AC myself is it a deal breaker not to have it or can do just fine without thanks!

Keep leveling and farm them yourself. They're really only needed if you aggro kite and you shouldn't be aggro kiting per Sesserdrix.

I love my JBoots. They aren't that needed for earlier levels, but will make travel/escape easier. I farmed them myself at the OOT camp, but you will need to plan a day to get them if the camp is already taken.

Thanks for the replies whats the lowest level a necro can farm them in OOT 39 or wait for 44?

I would add that they are quite useful beyond aggro kiting, just not as essential. Jboots will help you get more distance faster between a mob that resists your darkness, or that you need to refear. That gained time then gives you more time to sit and med.

It just isn't as essential as it would be to aggro kiting, which should just never happen.

Less deaths = less xp loss and faster xp gain. If Jboots save you from 10 deaths over the next 20 levels, it's probably worth farming the plat. Go group in HHK and sell goblin ears in EC, you'll make money quickly.

Jboots are also very useful if you are solo fear kiting, because it gives you time to land your snare, run back, and land a fear. Without run speed enhancement, you're pretty likely to take a hit before you get off a fear or a FD, and necro taunt aggro isn't consistent enough to take off the mob every time before it gets to you.

Sow pots are a good substitute for jboots until you can affor them. Jboots just make everything more easy if you cant cast sow - literally everything is faster/easier.

I could never justify paying that much its idiotic. stick with sow pots until you can solo the camp yourself. unless you have plat flying out of your ass but even then don't give these scamming mqers the satisfaction!
