PvP changes with last(?) patch
 

I noticed a few changes in pvp that I thought I'd bring to the forums, as I don't see them listed in any patch notes. I'm not sure when it happened, I just started noticing them with the last patch though.

Epic Mage Pet Buff

Epic pet's stun is landing often now as opposed to never (@100~ MR) I was resisting maybe 1/3rd of the stuns in my last 2 encounters. The epic pet is also now immune to fear! Class is pretty strong again, would suggest dusting them off and dunking someone with epic pet.

Rune blocking bash

Another strong change for int casters, rune is now preventing bash from interrupting spells, though I haven't noticed if it stops the 5% chance to interrupt yet. Very easy for bad players with wizard epics to just channel droughts/lures through melee hits Mitic should make a return imo

no one pvps but you so no changes weren't noticed until now.

I don't recall epic pet being immune to fear, in fact don't Mages get a level 59 buff to deal with that issue?

Also, it was the necro spectre pet that was supposed to be immune to fear... someone had their wires crossed?

Yeah the Spectre pet gets innate fear immunity I think at Velious launch? It's part of a raid fix toward pets because AEs clean their clocks.

cannot recall the epic pet being immune to fear but i know the necro spectre pet was

mage epic prob wasn't immune but considering how fear was mr based and also an easy to resist mr spell the epic pet resisted it 99% of the time i'd guess

Pretty sure this is spot on. Magician pets were not innately immune to fear.
