This is why we still play EQ1. This was and still is our dream game. I doubt there's ever going to be anything else like it, but I hope I'm wrong. I definitely don't get my hopes up these days. That stopped for me after Vanguard was such a collosal failure.

Guy is absolutely terrible. With a tier 6 pick it takes maybe 30-40 minutes to get 50k dirt, which is a ton. Most of the time you're junking dirt unless you're building a fucking mountain. Landmark really isn't my cup of tea, though. I upgraded my equipment and crafting stations, build a square domicile, put neat stacks of most building materials in containers and realized I'm a boring fuck and shouldn't play building games.
